Default Great Kids!

A month ago the center of my bonnet emblem was lost. Look what my great kids got me for my birthday!

Nothing wrong with them maintaining their inheritance.

They do listen. Good to know.
So my 1967 Corvette big block convertible may show up any day?

Default Stu46h- how much pocket money do they have?

+1 Stu46h

I consider Gifts related to the Giver’s salary. So how much pocket money do you give your children?

I’m always more impressed with gifts from those who have little compared to big gifts from those with plenty.

So so when will I get my air compressor for the garage?

They have little, so it was a generous gift since I had never asked for it.

When asked, I always tell my kids that what I want for my birthday or Christmas is an Aston Martin. In lieu of that, a hug and a kiss is a fully satisfactory substitute

Cheers

I agree 100% I have on my desk a pen holder on my desk. Its made from toilet roll holders and an old plastic butter tub. Hand made and painted. Made by two young brothers across the street. One of the best gifts I have ever had.
That same year I have some well off friends who had just moved into a farm. Renovated nicely. He earns a LOT of money he earns in one week what would have taken me months to earn when I was working. I bought them an aluminium a trailer for the back of their sit on Lawn Mower so they could transport logs from the fields around their place. I made sure it was of good quality etc. Not cheap but they could more or less buy what they wanted and this was one item they had yet to get. Not cheap but then again its not about money. What did I get from them? I really wish they had bought me nothing than what they did give. I was intrigued by their gift. Nicely wrapped. Large and oblong. Quite heavy. What could it be? Some sort of tools for the car? They know how keen I am on my Jag. But I kept it for Christmas day. It was one of the very first gifts I opened. Around 2ft x 3ft and 3 inches deep. Quite heavy too.
Bet you can't guess what it was? Have a go! I certainly would never have guessed that in a million years. When I opened it up I got a shock, no not an electric one. One gift I will never forget certainly. So can you guess???
