One question. In the UK stores have xmas lights and stuff in from early November. Are you spared that in the USA until after thanksgiving?

I just wondered if thats what the pilgrims
were getting away from?

Ild go a long way to avoid xmas shopping ( preferably with the top down)

Hey smoggy - not a chance - we suffer the same fate with some stores even decorating for Christmas before Halloween and some radio stations even shifted to 24/7 Christmas music weeks ago - drives me nuts!!!

I've successfully fought off having to put up a Christmas tree every season since 2008, but now my wife is insisting on us putting one up this season. I'll have to step up my battle tactics....

Bah, humbug....

You have my sympathy. But at least we have the right machine to get away from it.
