This type of tool uses a 'polydrive' pattern, not to be confused with Torx.

bumping old thread on the same topic.. blown head gasket on a 01 xkr.. new thread 01 xkr head gasket diy help in the x100 section.. could you guys weigh in on that thread.. how did your effort come out.. still working.. lessons learned.. I would like to make a master thread on how to do this and document/video my entire process when I do it to help the board.. thanks guys
