Kick Plate removal for top hydraulic hose
The Tread Plate?
If so - YES. The insert is glued in place and covers the three fixing screws.

It's very easy to damage the insert. I used a wooden spatula the lift the end on mine and then cut through the glue using a length of nylon fishing line in a sawing motion.

I gently lifted the kick plate from the seat side and put a 5-in1 (painting tool) to keep it up while I slid the carpet out and removed the side panel from underneath.
It can be done carefully- the correct way would be to replace the stick that covers the bolts, but the workaround is ok if you are careful- I have done it twice on the same car FYI.

Hi,
Can anyone recommend an adhesive for refixing the plates? Obviously something that will allow the plate to be removed again in the future, as refitting one of mine keeps coming back off
Thanks,
