I am doing a replacement of the bushes and ball joints on the front suspension of my 2001 XKR.
I bought lower arm bushes from Rockauto and they have VAICO V410028 list as front lower forward bushes.
However, when I look at the box that arrived, it has MNE1360BB below the Vaico number and this is the Jaguar part number for the front lower rearward bushes.
Are they okay to use in the front lower forward location, or should I ask for them to be replaced with MNE1360CA? What's the difference between the parts?
The URO parts info for both shows no difference in specs listed.

The basic dimensions of these bushes are the same but their position can NOT be swapped. The offset of each is different. If they are transposed the required caster setting will be unobtainable.
Thanks for the TSB.
I have ordered two of MNE1360CA and will have to argue with Rockauto about who pays the return postage for the VAICO V410028.
I will await the arrival of the new ones, before doing the return, so I can compare the differences.
For the install, the rented ball joint kit I have from Autozone has a tube that looks like it will fit over the rubber of the bush, on the MNE1360BB I have, and catch the metal flange. I will freeze the bush overnight before lubing with silicone paste and try light pressure in the press. If it does not move easily, a rethink might be needed.
It looks like the special tool mentioned in the TSB is just a mirror image of the bush top parts and would help to spread the load across as much of the bush as possible, including the rubber parts?

Correct. The tool 204-279 also has a center peg to keep the tool located in the bush.
A correct diameter tube or socket will work fine without the special tool.

New parts arrived today. There is a clear difference in offset when you have them both together. The BBs I already had did seem to protrude a little, but the CA is significantly more proud.
I laid out the issue clearly in an email, with part numbers, and Rockauto agreed and sent a prepaid postage pdf via return email, so quite happy with that outcome, although it has of course cost me a week of lost time.
Time to stick them in ziplock bags and into the freezer in preparation for fitting this weekend.
