Default Need info on mystery tube?

Ok, so whats the thin skinny plastic black tubing coming off the top of the round metal canister on top of the throttle body ...it snakes its way around to to the passenger side of the engine bay and disappears into the sidewall and goes where???mine is really brittle....is this some type of vacuum tubing????

It ends up in the fender well where the three vacuum solenoids are located. Remove the liner ( careful, very expensive) and it will be obvious. If that is brittle, chances are the vacuum line from the engine should be replaced also

This is the Vacuum line to the Cruise Control Servo.

Thank you for this post. I’ve been racking my brains as to where this goes. As I have just about 3 inches of pipe coming out the actuator. But no other pipe visible my guess is it’s slipped down behind the wheel arch cowling. So some new tubing to buy and fit.

If, like me, you don't have cruise, then the pipe doesn't do anything and is just tucked away:
