P1517
I Own a Jaguar XKR from 1999, and after I start the engine, it shuts down, and the light check engine turns on. after I connect a computer to the car, it says P1517 Error.
how can I solve it?

Jose, Best I can find right now, the Park Neutral switch has a problem. Could just be out of adjustment.

The code is telling me that your shifter cable could be out of adjustment or the selector switch is bad see if this helps.
