Default Polyurethane bushings

The issue of polyurethane bushings for the X100 seems to have gone dark over the past decade or more. The ownership of my 2004 convertible has progressed to the point of suspension revision.
An internet review of polyurethane bushing sources for the X100 reveals few current suppliers.
Is there a current perspective on the use of polyurethane vs OEM bushings for suspension components for our X100 cars? Is there a favored supplier?

Default Suspension bushings

Hello,
I'm in the same boat and plan on contacting Wayne (cjd777) as soon as I 'm ready to start work on my convert during the off season. He's apparantly a fount of knowledge on X100 suspension and very helpful. Best of luck on your project.

Rick

Many of us have replaced the OEM bushings in the control arms and anti-roll bars with poly bushings from Powerflex, and I have not heard of anybody pulling them out for something else, they seem to have excellent longevity.
For the upper shock mounts, members cjd777 (Wayne) and baxtor (Steve) are the preferred suppliers, theirs are universally acclaimed.

What LMG said! I changed all bushing to Powerflex poly and recently added in Wayne's front upper shock mounts - satisfied daily driver here! Will eventually add in Baxtor's rear upper mounts
