Default This is quite something

I don't usually highlight cars for sale but this caught my eye.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto...861797457.html

Particularly amusing is the assertion that it "seats four comfortably" and is "meticulously maintained".

I love it. Only wish the interior matched the unique exterior.

I love it. If you are going to modify the car’s paint, then go all the way. I hope it’s not a wrap.

Only wish the interior matched the unique exterior.

Meanwhile, I feel like this has got to be worrying at least some of the Jag/Tata execs. I get that they have full on committed and effectively MUST have blinders on to stick with it, but consumers at large are even balking at HYBRIDs. I think we are an an electric reckoning and they will go the way of the Betamax, the HD DVD, among many other technologies. I am all for alternative fuels, but I don't think electric is it. It could be it if it were totally self-sustaining with solar, but that isn't gonna happen because there is no money it it after the car sale. And at the price point Jaguar is pitching, the cars would quite literally have to look like the pink and blue concepts to have a remote possibility at enticing the younger generation. At that price point, there are probably a lot more enticing offerings for the so-called "wealthy youth".

Mercedes-AMG to axe four-cylinder PHEV for straight six and V8

I do have a dozen Jaguars here on my goat ranch.
Some run, some do not.
Don't really want to bury any of them.

Sad for the car, but I thought the tongue-in-cheek description was funny

I agree, it also looks like they used chatgpt to create the initial part of the listing.
On a side note, it the hole on the right side of the bumper for a Ram Air System?

Possibly the lamp fell out and just got missed by the 'flawless maintenance' regime

Well, the patina-ed look is very popular. The interior has patina as well. TM
