Rear Shock replace question
Ran into a little problem today while trying to replace the rear shocks and I have a question for anyone who has done this job before. I have the spring compressors in place and I went to remove the bolt connecting the shock to the wishbone. I got the nut off fine, but I can't seem to get the bolt out. The bolt will not turn at all, even with a breaker bar or impact wrench. Is the bolt threaded into the wishbone itself in which case I should continue trying to thread it out, or is it just pushed through and I should try hammering/prying it out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Use a jack and a large socket and take some of the pressure off, just jack the bottom of the shock up a bit. A bottle jack will do. Don/t forget to mark with a good marker the pin going through the rear hub.

So I finally got the bolt out. Turned out that the lower bushing on the shock was the problem. I tried hitting it with a torch but it still didn't budge. I ended up cutting through the bottom of the shock and through the bushing, then the damper bolt just tapped right out. Thank you all for your help.
