Default Thanks!

I'm generally a list lurker, but an avid reader of this forum. I just want to say thanks to everyone that posts to this forum.

I purchased my 2003 xk8 conv. in October and have used the information in this forum to modify the antenna operation, fix the trunk lid button (wire broken right where members said it would be), fixed micro switch in trunk so that the lights work and today, replaced the expansion tank.

I would not have attempted any of this without the information and insight found on this site.

I learn something new every time that I read this forum and I truly enjoy driving this car except that I will probably end up with a speeding ticket.

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, I'd like to echo your comments regarding the participation on this forum. i learn something each time I access this forum. The members are knowledgeable and explain procedures where one can understand and follow their instructions. Pics are fantastic. The XK8 mechanical s have been a steep learning curve and I'm still to the uphill climb!. Thanks everyone.

Where the wire loom flexes at the front right corner at the hinge. Cut the loom open and splice or pull the entire loom out and pull the wires for a neater repair.

That's exactly where mine was broken. I soldered a small piece wire so that it had a little more room to move.
