Default Wishing you all Farewell

Hello Everyone,
My daughters are speaking to you on my behalf as I passed away from a battle with cancer on October 14th, 2025. One of my favorite past times was enjoying my time of this forum and getting to know as many of you as possible and to see your beautiful cars, along with sharing my Jaguar with all of you! Thank you for the wonderful information you all shared with me over these past years and I wish you all the best!
Here is my obituary and God Bless you all!
Obituary information for Frederick V. Cruea

OldCoot,

It was great having you as part of this group. You sound like a gentleman that we would have all liked to have known.

We thank you for your service over the years and thank your daughters for completing the circle on this.

We hope that you enjoy clear skies and tail winds as you drive your convertible Jag off into the sunset!

Farewell Old Coot it was great getting to know you through the Forum, we always seemed to have a lot in common as far as thoughts and attitude on the world in general. May you always have the sun on your face, and the wind at your back. Gods' Speed Sir.

Jack

Sorry to hear about anyone moving on even if it is to a "better place". I see that Frederick was almost exactly 1 year older than me and I have to admit the numbers get daunting but to hell with the numbers

To OldCoot, I will always remember our private conversation about the Dash-to-Spitfire Wing connection. Farewell to you and rest in piece.

THANK YOU, Old Coot sir, for enriching our lives here. While I never owned an XK8, I was always strongly drawn to its amazing lines. Eventually I did acquire its successor, an XK convertible. Condolences all.

We also connected via the Off Topic section where there was a lot of interesting banter over the years with him. While a real name might be hard to remember, a screen name and tagline like his is unforgettable! You will be fondly remembered Mr. Frederick V. Cruea, and your vehicles will live on.
