Wow us with your XK8/R photos
Now I have gone to my second XK8, a 2006 Ebony Victory Edition that will need some work, but I guess that's I why we love these cars. The Nav system will be going, and a few other things, but as a retiree, I guess that's I why I have all this time to spend??

Sam.....It's good to see that you have finally found an XK8 and what's best about it is that it's Ebony...I guess that those Atlas Wheels came Chrome Plated because it's a Victory Edition.....Very Nice Sam! Billy Clyde in Houston
Yes. It has a few glitches, but so far nothing that I hope I cannot correct. Got a Nav display that needs replacing, and I am looking for a 3 gauge burl walnut dash to replace the elm/nav unit, but so far it has a lot of potential.

This is my XK150 that I took a picture in the same place in 1983. Note that the bridge has been updated in the picture with a the XK8.
Here is a picture that I took of my XK8 near the Canal in Lockport, NY
I started seeing the XKs on this site about 2 month ago and they were so impressive to me that I started looking for one myself . That , as so many of them are , is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing !! BTW I found mine , and now I have one sitting in my garage right next to my Vanden Plas .
....Hope you are as happy as I am with them.
Right after the buff job
Sure reminds me of my XKE
That unmistakable front profile
My first Jaguar Convertible . And Supercharged to boot !!
My Vanden Plas came with the same 16" wheels you have, I changed them.
They are the same as you have on your XK, called Double-Fives, fitted with 245/45 front, and 275/40 on the rear ... just for looks .....
I think they do very well on the Vanden Plas indeed.
And I figured it out, put the XK in auto drive, then follow with the XJ to enjoy the lines
.
