Default The Pix I had planned to attach?

Now I have gone to my second XK8, a 2006 Ebony Victory Edition that will need some work, but I guess that's I why we love these cars. The Nav system will be going, and a few other things, but as a retiree, I guess that's I why I have all this time to spend??

Sam.....It's good to see that you have finally found an XK8 and what's best about it is that it's Ebony...I guess that those Atlas Wheels came Chrome Plated because it's a Victory Edition.....Very Nice Sam! Billy Clyde in Houston

Yes. It has a few glitches, but so far nothing that I hope I cannot correct. Got a Nav display that needs replacing, and I am looking for a 3 gauge burl walnut dash to replace the elm/nav unit, but so far it has a lot of potential.

Default XK8 at the Erie Canal

My XK8 at the Widewater’s Marina on the bank of the Erie Canal. Lockport, NY

This is my XK150 that I took a picture in the same place in 1983. Note that the bridge has been updated in the picture with a the XK8.
Here is a picture that I took of my XK8 near the Canal in Lockport, NY

A very dusty XK8 after miles of driving on dirt roads in the Sierras.

Default XKRs in Italy

XKRs
XKRs are ultra rare in Italy so seeing two together is worthy of a photo. Mine is the blue one.

what a beautiful sight !! Both vehicles look excellent together! What’s more perfect than black and silver !! Please tell me what wheels the Vanden Plas is using !! They really look perfect on the car . I am trying to post pictures of my 2 jags but I haven’t quite figured out how to do it yet . Unfortunately my Red and Racing Green Jaguars sort of clash , but that’s OK cause I haven’t figured out how to drive both cars at the same time yet !!! But I am working on that too !!!

Right after the buff job

Sure reminds me of my XKE

That unmistakable front profile

My first Jaguar Convertible . And Supercharged to boot !!

These are their lightweight 'RSII' wheels and now out of production. Found occasionally now on eBay and still popular with the Porsche track car crowd.

Thank you.
My Vanden Plas came with the same 16" wheels you have, I changed them.
They are the same as you have on your XK, called Double-Fives, fitted with 245/45 front, and 275/40 on the rear ... just for looks .....
I think they do very well on the Vanden Plas indeed.

And I figured it out, put the XK in auto drive, then follow with the XJ to enjoy the lines .
