Default XK8 ABS module differences and issues with solder joints

All the videos I have seen for ABS module repair show a module with 4 bolts. Mine has 3 bolts and the plug connector is different.
Any ideas why and when did this change? Does a 3 bolt module still have the same power solder joint issues?
THanks

Can you post a pic? All of the ABS modules I've seen have 4 bolts that attach it to the pump assembly.

I know the 4.2L is different to the earlier ones- does it look like this:

Pics pinched from t'interweb. It is Jaguar part # C2N3651.

I've not read of any soldering failures on the 4.2L modules. Perhaps the rearranged connector layout has improved things?

Amazingly available new if you have a spare kidney...

I have never had to remove/repair a 4.2 X100 ABS module so I can't help.

Here you go. So do these experience the same solder joint power connection issues as the others?

What are the issues, exactly? What codes are you seeing?

I dont really recall. I just want to find out if this particular ABS module is prone to the same solder joint issue as the other style or is this unique older module?
Thanks

The 4.2 module is not subject to solder failure, or at least there have been no reports that I recall.
