Default Xk8 front shock mount nut (the three on each side)

does anyone know the part number or equivalent for the shock mount nuts - not the center nut, but the three that connect the tower to the body.

Thanks.

Do you mean the absolutely common M8 x 1.25mm nuts?

If that's the correct one then sure. The Jag parts catalogue says it is part number jfx10805b flange nut.

You should be able to find them at the local hardware store. Just take one with you when you go and match 'em up....

Thanks.
Just be aware, M8 is OEM and URO mounts but it could be 5/16" UNC if the mount happens to be Welsh.

Like baxtor said, the maker of the mount makes a difference.
The one problem several have had over the years is the amount of paint or powder coat on the threads.
If new, always do a threading of a nut on each stud before install, will save you breaking one off, and then it becomes a nightmare.

These came with the car so not sure how to tell if it's URO or OEM unless I take it to the store and try each bolt? Are they close enough where each would fit? How would I tell if it's the exact correct fit if they both will -kinda- fit?

I'm not a bolt and nut expert.

Do you not have a bucket full of odd nuts, bolts, screws, nails, random metal brackets, bits of pipe, Ikea fixings and rust in your shed?

No they will not 'sort of' fit. Do not do that!
If you have one original. take it to a hardware store and ask for assistance is matching the thread.
