Hello:
A while back, I saw an couple of XK8s that had the seats removed and replaced with a very elegant, carpeted shelf like the E-Type has behind its front seats. One car had big subwoofers put into the unit, but that's not what I want to do; I just want something unique to do with that space.
I'm wondering if anyone has done that, whether it is commercially available, or has plans that they've written up for that kind of project.

If you put flat wood across the seat area you wasted a lot of space below. So a couple of hatches to left and righ would give storage for small stuff or security.
I know ther is space because mine had a gallon of water each side !
