Default rear rubber pigtails CCC7350

Does anyone change these out as part of the job, or just re-use existing?

Michael, kind of strange to say this but don't recall seeing that kind of spring seat on a XK8 shock, front yes, rear, no. What am I missing?

OK, under the rubber pad, I'm guessing.
Sorry I missed it, bet it could have used a cleaning.
Thanks, and will certainly be aware the next time.

Hi Wayne,
It is the rubber pad - not that you can tell that it's rubber from the diagram.

I changed them out when I did the rear shocks since I'd bought them in advance as they were frayed around the edges.

OK, now I'm on board. I did take it out and clean it and added some silicone grease to the top side.
Like you Michael, would have never guessed from the chart it was rubber.
Learning all the time, thanks.
