Default F-Type phone holder

I found this F-Type phone holder on e-Bay, I like that it doesn't use any adhesives. It's a few dollars cheaper on Etsy.

I have been using that cell phone mount for a couple of years. It works well. I just bought a MagSafe compatible phone and am looking for a MagSafe to replace the magnetic disc. If not, the MagSafe charger sticks pretty well to the magnet and the phone to the MagSafe.

I have found the following to work really well.

This phine holder works really well. Also the other magnetic mount for 0.45 ACP or 9mm

Thanks for the heads up on the magnet. The unit comes with a self adhesive magnet, but I don't know how well it will stick to the phone case so I might need something more robust.

you guys want to check out https://www.scosche.com/ get those little metal plates which stick to the back of either your phone or phone case, i've used them for some time now. then any magnetic mount will do, i guess.

https://www.proclipusa.com/product/8...-console-mount ...theres also this, i used a proclip in my C7 corvette and it worked well. i'm not sure i like the placement in the f-type application, though. probably the strap style one mounted on the right side is the better option.

Probably a bit steep in price for what amounts to a couple of bucks worth of parts thrown together, but I decided to pull the trigger anyways. I've been using a Scosche vent mount for about the last 6 months and I've never been totally happy with it. First, it means mounting to the left of the steering wheel, which just feels like a slightly unnatural location for me to glance at when using Waze, etc. Second, it blocks the AC coming out of the vent which isn't ideal. And finally, the vent slats always felt a little flimsy to me and there's been more than one occasion where a bump has caused my cell phone to pop upwards pretty drastically and it feels like only a matter of time before it breaks. I think the grab handle just makes better sense as a phone mounting location.

My mount just arrived and it came with both a round and rectangular plate to mount to the phone, I'll post pics when I get it set up in the car.
