Hi, my name is Roy, and I have a beautiful, low mileage 2001 white XJ8 here is SW Florida. The classic "little old lady" died, leaving this beauty with 45K miles to her shrink, who sold it to me in late 2013 for a very modest amount. And being a Florida car, it never saw salt and doesn't have a hint of rust. Actually, it still has the new car smell.

I have already profited tremendously from the forum -- when I got it, the steering wheel would not go up and down (an easy fix and a $30 used part from ebay thanks to the forum) and later the hood latch broke, making it impossible to open the hood -- of course I panicked, but with the forum and my electric drill I was able to get it open, without damage, in an hour or so. So, thanks!

I don't think I could "afford" the car without the forum -- with it, it is a delight. (btw no other problems so far, in 10 months and 6K miles).
