First Jag ever !!
Well after 43 years of owning vehicles, (14 cars and 9 motorbikes), I have finally bought a Jaguar, and so far I must say that I'm chuffed to bits with it. IMO the Odyssey Red paintwork and Latte interior are a great combination. It's the best looking car I've ever owned by a long shot. I can't believe how many people come up and comment on it.
Wish I'd bought one years ago. Very envious of all the lucky people on the forum who have owned all sorts of Jaguars over many years.

No reason to be envious! Everyone here started out with their First Jaguar at some point, even Grant Francis who may have been born in one, and we all shook our heads in wonderment at what we had been missing.

doesn’t matter if I am in the XJR, S11 or my old XJ40 you will always get somebody looking at you, can’t wait to get my old ‘S’ type on the road

Welcome Alan. I too am new to Jaguar ownership (2005 XJ8L) and new to the forum. If you are becoming gaagaa over your Jag like I am, you love this site. Great info and plenty of folks ready to reach out and help. Agree with your opinion of best car you've ever had. For the rest of the days I'm blessed with, I hope to always make my way about in one.
