hi! New member and new Jag owner here from Edmonton, AB Canada. I'm really glad to see an online community dedicated to Jaguar vehicles, owners, enthusiasts and fans.


I just recently acquired a certified pre-owned 2008 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 with the Luxury Package in Glacier Blue Metallic with the Ivory and contrast piping interior and other VDP treats. Thanks to this forum, when I was still lurking, I learned more about the car, especially the trim level. The dealer I purchased this from wasn't fully aware of the actual trim level - luckily, though, there was a thread in the X-Type section of this forum that dealt with the topic

This is my first ever Jaguar and currently into my 2nd week of ownership. All I can say is that I find it to be quite excellent so far. It's very much different from my other vehicle, that's for sure.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
