hello to all!
I am one of a lucky owner of Jaguar xk8 here in Japan.
I've spent 12 years in Uk before I got a job here a year ago in auto industry.

I bought my xk8 cos its beautiful car and some of you may not want to hear this but....Planning to convert it to EV!

At the moment just driving around as it is(loving the performance and the sound...gonna miss the sound...). The plan is coming along therefore I will start taking ICE parts off the car in few months time.

here are some pics!

Not like that but similar idea. I will be just replacing the fuel tank and the engine bay therefore wont be using that massive battery.
by calculation I should get around 100miles, about 300hp! Just like it is!

Ooo! Black! My Favorite!

I am a Firm believer that it's YOUR car and you should be able to do whatever you want to do with it without fear of criticism. Your conversion will certainly be an interesting project.

In the few months you drive it around you may decided you like that sound too much to want to part with it though. Just a thought.

Welcome from ElinorB.
