Default New XKR member intro

Hello all,

Like many other newbies i have been trolling around for a while.
I am a middle aged kiwi male and the happy owner of a 2007 (registered) 2008 black XKR with caramel interior and 87000 km.
Probably not well recieved on this forum my vehicle is a Japanese import with all english conversion including navigation.
Here in New Zealand even the imports go for reasonably high $ compared to English equivalent.

I love the car runs beautifully but have always had reservations on the carmel interior and carpets and have recently put a holding deposit on a 2007 XKR Portfolio ...subject to inspection......

looking forward to being involved here and asking for help and opinions

cheers

Nev

Welcome to the forum Nev,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. No problem with Japanese imports. My sympathies are with the Japanese where their used vehicle test is so expensive that buying new is the cost effective option. NZ used to be their market for used vehicles but they have started turning up in Western Europe recently. Excellent value.

If you haven't found it already, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-x150-33/ to the X150 forum for help, advice and information
.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the New Zealand Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/new-zealand-97/

Hello, Nev,
Nearly everyone's car was imported from somewhere, a Vast percentage from Japan.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
