Newbie to forum. Growling 91 xj40
91 xj40 w/growl at 40mph up to maybe 45-50
Johns cars replaced my differential last year and it's didn't make the same noise as the differential did the differential had a whining noise that varied as you went up and down over whoopty doo doos this is just a growling noise encompassing the vehicle can't really tell where it's coming from. If anyone has got a good place to start please advise it's an awesome car and I don't want to get rid of it I've had it for 2 years black original paint saddle leather covered with real sheepskins new will headliner records from new all the way down to gas and oil additions and maintenance I love my car it will probably be the last one of five cars I currently have that I will keep. Thanks so much guys I appreciate any help this looks like an awesome for him

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
