Hello from the frozen north!
Had our 2007 X-type 2.0D S for 4 months now, but only just got around to an introduction on here. Please forgive me!
We love this car, though we have had a few niggling problems (rectified under warranty, thankfully), such as front wheel bearings and the infamous crank pulley and tensioner! Next job is to cure the hot start problem that only occurred after the crank pulley replacement (any correlation?).
Can't wait to meet fellow Jaguar owners at the Crieff meet in a couple of weeks (Many Thanks to Jim for organising this!). It'll be a pleasure to ride in comfort in the Jaguar after this last weekend when we were on a run with fellow Westfield 7 owners around the Cairngorms (one of our other cars is a Westfield).
I'm sure I'll be back here soon with questions!
Regards,
David

Mark,

Two pieces of information which may be useful in your search for help:

1. the OP (DavidSe7en) was last on the forum over 5 years ago - October 19th 2015
2. the OP is from Inverness - a city in the highlands of Scotland

I believe there is also an "Inverness" in Florida and another in California. There is also one in Queensland, Australia and one in North Island, New Zealand.
