Hi All, been a member for a few years now, but not active for a couple since I sold the 97 XJ Executive. A Mercedes SLK replaced her and although a fun little car in its own way, I missed the Jag.... Well this week my business partner and I have fallen upon and purchased a 1997 X308 XJR 4.0 Supercharged ... she is high mileage but had a full re spray last year and all the rot cut out and replaced.. it interior is mint and she looks so good. The only little problem with her is non starting.. we think it’s an immobiliser issue and she is currently at a Jag specialist having her brain examined...

The New Girl
we have high hopes for this girl and look forward to sharing our experiences with you all

many thanks

Paul

Welcome back, it always happens.

Well done on the "R".

Brain scan is a logical approach.

Good luck.

Hello, Paul,
Congratulations on your latest Jaguar!
I have heard, from those who should know, that once you get Jaguar fever you're never completely over it.
It would seem to be the case for you.

Welcome back to the forums from ElinorB.
