Welcome to the forum Open,

I've moved your Intro from the end of Raul Lara's Intro about his overheating X-Type to a new Intro of your own.

I can see you are having some difficulty posting your question about removing the coolant Expansion Tank so I'll get a thread setup in S-Type forum for you to get help and advice once you post the model details. I can see from your forum profile and your post that you have a 2000 S-Type. Is this a 3.0 litre V6 or a 4.0 litre V8?

3.0 litre V6 (see item 1)

4.0 litre V8 (see item 2)

Graham

Thanks for confirming the engine size.

I have copied your question to a new thread in the S-Type forum for advice from members with the same model. Here is the direct link to it:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...remove-212652/

I also changed " coolant holding tand " to "coolant expansion tank" to make it clear.
