Default 2003 S Type Jag and 2000 S Type Jag

I just bought a 2003 s type jag. Owner said the engine was bad. My question is as follows. If the key fob has a bad circuit board will that cause the car to not run and or the owner out a stereo in that was not factory will this cause the car not to run

I own a 2000 S Type Jag as well so I believe the parts for both cars are inter changeable.

Welcome to the forum Sebastian,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've now found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
