Hey all,
I just wanted to introduce myself and the new whip. My name's Dave and I've recently had the good fortune of finding a '97 white xk8. It only had one previous owner, was garage kept and driven only in the summer. Its in great shape and I'm loving it so far. Cheers!

XK8 is a really sweet drive and I wish you well with yours.
Several quick bits of advice ...

• go to User CP on forum main menu then down to Edit signature to include lasting details of your Jag by year, model, engine, trans etc ... to ensure that advice you receive is always accurate for your car;

• check out the XK8/XKR specific forum to ensure you have all the latest downloads of JTIS manuals, wiring diagrams and other resources specific to your VIN#;

• using this same XK8/XKR section, use the Search tool to scan all previous threads and posts for any problem issue.

All that remains is for you to dive in and enjoy,

Follow Norri's link in post #4 to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
