Default EPB Remove replace pre sale

SO, after some joyus years with the STR Im going t move into something else.

the singular issue with the STR is a non working EPB. What I cant find is a guide to remove/replace the motor. I recall hearing it was above the back axle and hence a PITA
Anyone tackled this?? Im hoping to determine if I want to undertake or have it done by a shop prior to me putting it up for sale.
I mean I did the knock sensors and under SC pipe on my own which requires removing half the engine. But I don't have a lift if that's required for this task..

Thanks in advance

It's been posted here or else on the UK how to change the motor and I think more than once. I think it's also in JTIS - did you look?

+1, and this is preceded by some basic troubleshooting to determine which component of the system is actually defective.

Yes Ive checked this site thoroughly.. I could have sworn I saw it abut a year back even with some pics of the internal gears, but after not coming across this time, I finally posted.

Yes, fully trouble shot , save from taking it to jaguar to diagnose

If the electric motor needs replaced then yes it's above the rear diff. You need to remove a couple of bolts and drop the pumpkin down a bit to get at the EPB. Just make sure that's your problem and not the cables or the calipers.

See attached TSB's for more info.

This one is pretty good with pictures. No one has come up with the repair for the gears and the only option is remove and replace.
