Default s type R airbag

Hi
I m in need of some info,
I have just re do my headliner and repair a now working sunroof
Put everything back but then I find my air bag light is blinking then after sometime it turned to solid (stop blinking)

Question;
1. Is there any kind of sensor on the wiring harness above the headliner?
2. Is there a way to diagnose the issue ?do we need special tools?

Thank you,

The 'blinking' MIL is flashing CODE(s). Count the blinks and you will get closer to determining the fault.

A better way is to read the SRS codes with a compatible diagnostic tool.

Let us know the 'blink-code'.

I have 8 blinks before turning solid.
The first few blink was slower... Then turn faster

There are ultrasonic sensors mounted in the roof lining and front A-pillar (and one in the center of the dash) to detect if people are actually sitting in the seats. If you have not reconnected one of those sensors after replacing the headliner you will have airbag faults.

Thank you, I will try dropping the headliner again to see if any of the 2 sensor came off loose.
Does it matter if 2 are place in reverse of the original spot.
