Default 2012 XF tech question

little help please...
on my 2012 portfolio the front aux port just all of a sudden went out on my and wont charge anything. the other one in the center console cubby with the cigg lighter works but sometimes wont be able to get the fast charging like the front one.
i did have to pick a dime out of the port tho when i unplugged my charger so maybe thats what might have caused it to crap out on me...

any ideas how to fix it?
included pic of thw port/socket

thanks for any and all help

that's the one that's out

LOL, lotus literally gave you the answer to your problem. CHECK THE FUSE BOX. Why so hostile?

nah noone is hostile.

check the fuses..might as well put air in the tire..
since he/she sated my father never taught me anything except to work on old muscle cars, no clue to where the fusebox is in this car...

i have no owners manual, looked for stuff on the net, cant find any tear down books etc etc... plus you can tell it was sarcastic... could've just been look here and check this..and there... hell maybe its in the trunk
.. its all good

have a good week

I agree its likely a fuse. I believe aux power is f28, at least on my 2010. It should be in the fuse box in the main cabin, which is behind a panel by the right side footwell. Use some needle nose pliers to pull it out and see if it's blown, if so you can get replacements just about anywhere. Good luck!

The fuse panel locations are in the owners manual, mind that the actual fuse reference tables may not be accurate.

Junior member asks a simple question. Veteran member replies but with some sarcasm. Squabble ensues.
