Default Car checks + engine oil / filter changed

Ok so now I have the car, I will be doing some remedial work, servicing etc to get it to where I want it to be.....Even though it has Full service
history, its getting done for peace of mind as I hope to have her for a while!

As part of this I visited with a highly recommended Jaguar Specialist "Prestige Jaguar" of Paisley near Glasgow yesterday
and got a health check, as well as an engine oil / filter change.

I have to say that both Ian / Dougie ( Co owners / founders of "Prestige Jaguar" http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...61190604,d.ZGU
were warm, welcoming and very friendly, really seemed to know their stuff too.
Around 20+ Jags sitting outside ready to be worked on in
one way or another, so busy busy busy.

Anyhow checked the car and all is pretty ok.

I'm going to be replacing most of the front suspension bushes and the rear lower wishbone bushes, as well as fitting a cat repair
flexi pipe, to sort out the diesel fumes leaking into the cabin, a common issue.

Next Monday will be my visit to Mackie Transmissions http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...61190604,d.ZGU
where I'll be getting my transmission serviced and or possibly a rear diff fluid change.

I'm really looking forward to visiting at Mackies, to see their premises and get a brief factory tour, in advance of the proposed
Jag meet in the next few months.

They're the premier ZF (GB) A rated supplier and remanufacure etc etc. Dealers have been known to use them many times, always good to know!!

I'll drop back and report how it all goes

Nice one Jim!

Maybe i'm just use to my lowered ride height, but the right front seems to be sitting very high in that picture?
