Many of you will know of our forum member "Caldoofy" (John), who has developed this superb upgrade for the 4.2 litre V8 Supercharged model.


The advantages of these tubes are well documented. The standard plastic intake tube has restrictions and a design that cancels the induction noise out. Consequently the efficiency of the tube is compromised. Similar to gas flowing a cylinder head, the smoother and increased flow of the Stage 1 Air Intake Tube allows the engine to breathe more easily and in doing so, creates power.

The major difference between Caldoofy’s Tube and the normal ones is that you don't need to cut the oil breather hose or even replace it!

This custom made 80mm tube will accept the Jaguar push-on fitting, reducing the need to chop yours and allowing you to return to stock easily and without damage.

John has very kindly agreed to donate the "Stage 1 Air Intake Tube Kit" MRP £105 ( approximately $167 US / $180 AU ) to one lucky member.

4 x Stainless Jubilee (worm drive) Clips

Manufactured in round 3 inch T304 stainless pipe with a polished finish, it increases power output and looks so much neater than the stock Inlet.

A turned stainless fitting TIG is welded to the tube for connection of the Jaguar oil breather hose:



The standard oil breather fits directly to the Inlet with no modifications required:



This photo shows blue connectors but the kit now comes with polished black silicone joiners and stainless steel Jubilee (worm drive) Clips.

Full fitting instructions are included and installation should take no longer then 15-20 minutes.
