Default It was as good run

After about 20 years of various Jaguar cars owned, the last one being a 2006 XJ8L, I've decided to go another direction. I traded my XJ8L for a 2015 Cadillac ATS. The ATS has about 25K miles as opposed to the 188K miles I had on my XJ8L. What I have noticed is the ATS really resembles the S-Type I had. Both cars had a really sharp steering and handling which made them both a back road burners. Best wishes to all of of your present and future Jaguar owners. Someday we may meet again.

Was your decision based on the "Millennial-Generation" types taking over the dealerships that used to care about servicing loyal customers as much or more then pushing new cars at clueless customers with "time-bomb" leases?
Now when you go into a typical new car dealer, except for a few older family run businesses, it seems like they are managed by a "team" that more resembles the cast from the Haribo Gold Gummy Bears commercials then a serious group of seasoned managers with some real-world hands-on experience "under their belts".

The Jag had 188K miles on it and fixing it to pass safety inspection would have been cost prohibitive.

There's an unfair comparison here. A 2015 XJ with 25k might be fairer. Just sayin'

Well, there is the small matter of about $20K or more difference in price.

Enjoy the ATS. My daughter has one and I'm impressed with it. All wheel drive is a plus here in the North.
