As the title says i was wondering has anyone tried to program a S-TYPE remote to the X-300?
I was thinking this as they come in both 315mhz and 433mhz but they are the nice flip key style and they use the tibbe blade.
so if they worked it could be a nice easy to source aftermarket solution to get a nice flip key upgrade.

 

The only one that I'm aware is a Saab of a certain model

Is your SLCM marked for a 315

 

The X200/X202 uses a TIBBE key with 6 cut, 4 angle vs 8 cut, 3 angle for the X300/X308.

 

SAAB LTQFM433 (which is 315MHz despite the misleading PN) for 1994-1998 900. Only issue is the "lock" button has a "trunk" pictogram.

 

I have a 315 labeled SLCM and have 2 , 315 FOBs and 1 newly acquired 433

I have yet to program the 433 to see if it works on my 315 SLCM , quick glance at the TSBs says that either FOBs can work just the antenna type has to match the SLCM freq

One of my 315s has some corrosion going on when I had it apart on a bathroom sink so that one is questionable

yep well my rear window has 315mhz antenna and my slcm is marked 315.

maybe one day i will find one around here. for now i have my aftermarket system wired in.
which i was thinking at some point to upgrade to push button and remote start system. just because why not.
