Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately this was an expensive project. I recognize we are talking about a $500 part for a ~ 8k car, however for some people this might be worth it.

 

I totally understand the cost involved in making custom work. hense why a lot of pieces are just not worth the cost for a company to design and manufacture.
and when you are trying to recover cost on small volume it also gets hard.

i also looked into the option of designing a plug and play LED headlight kit based on my experience of doing my own custom upgrade however the just likely isn't the demand i feel to make it worthwhile.

maybe one day as my list of parts to repair/replace get smaller i can justify a larger outlay on a piece like this.
for me, i certainly appreciate the work gone in and understand the cost.
but there are other avenues more important for me to spend that cash atm.
who knows, when i do my amp and speaker upgrade soon maybe my bezel will totally fall apart and i will be in need of a new one.

 

Anyone find one of these cheap? I am not paying $449 for one. You would figure that if someone made them cheap after a while they would make their money back
