Default climate control only hot air

so another problem appeared with my x308 jaguar, climate control blowing only cold or max hot air, if i set to low it blows cold air, then if i set to 17C it blowing very hot air, same as max.

where to look? maybe interior temperature sensor? maybe need to replace all climate control module??
sorry for my bad English

First there should be a button on the climate control for outside temperature. Press it and see if the outside temp is fairly close to the actual temperature. The ambient air temp sensor can play havoc with the controls if it has gone bad. Mine would give heat except on HIGH. The ambient was reading 137 degrees F when it was 32 degrees outside.
There is also a sensor that can get plugged up it is the cabin temp sensor. To the left side of the steering wheel you will see on the dash a perforated area. That is the cabin sensor and aspirator fan inlet. Try a vacuum cleaner hose over it to remove dust and lint.

There is a self test that will give you a code if it is electrical and not if it's dirty .

Page 45 for X308 and page 110 for self test , codes somewhere else

Codes pdf in post # 8

Check none of the pipes are trapped or blocked in the engine bay around the control valve, I had a similar issue pop up a few weeks ago. When I checked the area, I discovered I’d trapped one of the hoses between the top of the control valve and the expansion tank. No problems since.

The control valve is buried but you can run it back and forth with a 9 volt battery at the Climate Control ECU connector at pins x and y to see if it drives . you can see the position sensor change at pins a and b .

it drives, all okay, also i have cleaned cabin temp sensor, and tested outside temp sensor, is very accurate. i do not see any trapped hoses, ..

problem still not solved, climate control blows maximum hot air, or cold, if set on low.

Did you get any codes running the self diagnostics on the climat control?

The control valve is located directly underneath the expansion tank, you should be able to see the top of it and it's wiring plug by removing the centre section of the scuttle cover and looking in that area.
