Default Rear pivot bearing shimms

Just had abit of a scare reading the workshop manual on changing the pivot bearings,I didn't remember any shimms when I was taking everything apart.

These are them stuck on the sleeve right?

There are shims on the INSIDE along with a spacer tube as well as some to fit the bearings between the wishbone outer flanges.

The bearing preload has inner and outer tolerances.

is the washer looking thing I can see on my hub part 16?

Will be a while before I actually change it, just making sure I've not lost anything

Yes, #16 MHC3397AA1,2,3 etc. It comes in thicknesses from 3.905 to 5.505 mm in increments of 0.05 mm. When replacing the bearings and/or the sleeve, you need to set the preload to the factory spec by inserting the required thickness of the shims. Putting back the original ones may not provide correct preload or you may even have some backlash.
