I'm restoring jaguar xjs 5.2 v12, and I need 12 injectors.

I couldn't get it no matter how many times I inquired on eBay or here and there.

Any place you can find, like America, the U.K., anywhere you like that is fine.

But you do not give the year of your car, early pre HE cars have different ones from the HE model, and later 6 litre cars have different ones again. If you contact car breakers in the UK, eg Just XJS, they will have un-refurbished second hand ones that will be much cheaper.

 

What is wrong with your 12?
Are they pulsing?
I thought I had 12 dead ones and managed to get all of them pulsing again, followed by professional ultrasonic cleaning, only needed to replace 2 leaky ones in the end.

 

I just rebuilt all of mine. You can buy a very inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner and the rebuild kit online.

 

RockAuto.com or CarID.com in the USA has them. They are new and made in South Carolina. About $40 each plus Shipping.

injector flow bench, tests the amount of fuel EACH injectors flows in CCs. just say 10 flow within 10% of each other , but 2 only flow 50% of the exceptable injectors! all is fine until you going at 3/4 throttle for some time on hiway, the 2% injectors would be LEAN and engines dont like that, boom head gasket blows on those cylinders! all is fine at idle and low load conditions, but **** happens at the big end of the load range! all you can do is try it,see what happens , maybe nothing or?
