All done putting it back together.
When I last did the cage I did not remove the exhaust / mufflers................ I took the cage apart and put it back with the exhaust in place.

I spent 2hrs trying to put the exhaust back in the cage today, I removed the mount bits.... the mounting pins... and i still cant get it through the cage.
I am sooo over this I wanted to pour petrol over the car and light it.
So I walked away.... and thought I would ask.... how is it meant to be done?

1) should I be able to mount the cage and then put the exhaust on though the cage?

2) Do I put the exhaust though the cage what about the mount bits... can they be added in place? Does not look like it

How Is This Meant To Be Done?
Can someone put me out of my missay and explain how I should be able to fit the exhaust?
Please....

To get it out I had to lift it high in the air and fight it and swing it in all directions.... cant get it back in....
I spent all day on this and have had to give up..... will try again soon, if that fails... it will burn!

With the resonators attached the car or the cage has to be very high in the air. I struggled with the same issue so you might want to review my thread (scroll through towards the end):

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...needed-270488/

I found the easiest method was to disconnect the half shaft at the diff, the thread describes the easy way I found to do it from ends of the cage.

Yes, no bother, in fact the best way to do it. Just be careful to ensure you get the pin inserted to the holder on the top inside of the cage.
