The picture on his Facebook post is from the dealers lot, been there many times so can confirm that is the same. Matches the dealers picture also, the one where the Wrong Way sign is in the background.

One thing I will say is that this dealership has had less than great customer service/ expectation management. If this car was at another dealer, I would have shopped around more. Only thing keeping me on the hook is that there is so little inventory for this car, model, color, single owner, and subjectively low mileage. Overall, I think the price is pretty good, looking at 39K car sales price (6K less than advertised). I guess what i will find out over time is the actual quality/MX future costs of this car. I am very excited and I hope it works out!
thats awesome! good for you for being able to knock off 6k + get all that work done! im curious to learn about your negotiation tactics. 6k is a huge discount

you must have some incredible level of patience because there's no way i could 1) buy a car sight-unseen...2) wait "a few weeks" for the car to be delivered...i would have flown there and done it myself! but i guess with all this covid stuff, makes sense you're not on the next plane

***update on purchase*** so payment sent, paperwork sent. Unless something crazy happens, I technically bought the vehicle! Lol after doing so much research it is still difficult to tell if I paid a good price on the car. Car is supposed to be picked up for transport tomorrow, but we will see how that goes. Either way, I've been watching and waiting to pull trigger on an xkrs for a long time... And now I have! I want to thank everyone for their insight and help!

Good luck to you on your new purchase. How can you not be excited? You have a unique vehicle there....and if its anything like our XK/XKRs you'll be in love! Enjoy!

PS...I too purchased my car over 6 years ago from PA as I live in Florida. I did go to PA to inspect it. When the car was delivered to me 3 days later, and I saw it rolling off the truck.....Man was I a happy camper! I couldn't believe it was mine! You are going to feel the same way... Have a great time and enjoy your new ride.....Life is short, and especially these days, any enjoyment we can get is a blessing.

Excellent! Anticipation of delivery is like waiting for Christmas morning to open presents. I’m sure you’ll be pleased with car. I love my XKR😻

Beautiful! So with all the angst associated with the purchase, are you happy with the car?

An objective measure of how crazy in love you are with your new XKR-S is how many times you look in your garage before you go to sleep. Don't worry, that's normal and incurable.
