Default Does this doohickey connect to this thingamajigg?

Coming from the rear passenger wheel well is this small tube. When I got under the vehicle to see where it originated, I saw this fitting that appears to be missing a connection. Does part A connect to flange B?

Looks like the tube is the drain from the fuel cap

You gentlemen are correct. Another scooch under the car and I see where it originates and also where it should terminate. Thanks for the help and a special thanks for the visual assist, Graham. I don’t care what anyone says about this group, you’re aces to me.

For future reference Spinning wheels, "whatchamacallit", "whosit", "thingy" and "canudinator" (valve obviously), are acceptable industry terms.

Please note, the more accurate you are in using correct terminology, the better we're able to assist you.

Thingamabob and Doodad are also acceptable Jaguar terms but only if you have the proper code reader. They will not work with generic code readers.

Indeed. Not to mention that one of the most important things wrt to Jaguar maintenance is the correct interpretation of the blinkenlights.
