Default Help changing daytime running light

Anyone know how the heck to change the front upper daytime running lamp? It’s a T10 bulb, I removed the front headlight assembly and still couldn’t replace the bulb.

Not sure what your having an issue with? Once you pull the headlight assembly, you need to open up the the side domed cap to gain access to bulbs. Depending on what bulb your replacing you may need to remove other bulbs to get to the most inner bulb... Here is a link to when I did my led conversion, read through it an see if it helps you...

I've removed the bulbs to get access to the small T10 daytime running light. I just cant get access to it. I removed the side circular dust cover and also removed the whiole headlight assembly to no avail.

I think I know the problem. It has a led bulb in it now that is big preventing access.

Not that one. Its nest to the cornering light, proximal to the engine.

Let's clarify something here. The OP is not referring to the DRL bulb, but to the cornering light bulb in the Active light system (meaning the optional swivelling main light system). This cornering light only illuminates when the wheels are turned, and the other lights are on (the turn signal might also be involved in activating the cornering lamp...not certain, though), so this makes me wonder if there is in fact any problem with the bulb...or have I got this completely wrong and misunderstood? (Not at all impossible...still working on my first cup of coffee...).

Incorrect. I've changed the cornering light without problem. It's the little bugger next to it.

Success at last! Had to use a set of medical forceps to get a firm hold of the bulb receptacle. What a PITA. thanks for all your advice/help.
