Oil Leak ? and new need front brakes -
About 3 weeks ago, I noticed two spots of engine oil on the garage floor. I’m not exactly sure where it’s coming from, but it appears to be toward the back of the engine. I’ve attached a screenshot. Since then, there haven’t been any more oil spots, and I’ve driven the car 3–4 times.
My questions are:
My questions are:
- What could be causing this?
- What should my next steps be to diagnose or fix it?

Regards the F-Type front brakes, common recommendations are R1 Concepts rotors and Porterfield R4-S pads, plenty more discussion and info over on the F-Type sub-forum.
Also depends on which front brakes you have, the "base" model 355 mm or the S/R 380 mm.
In both cases/sizes they are a common fitment across a wide range of Jags and RRs so no need to restrict yourself to F-Type listings.
I upgraded the rotors (and pads) on my XK and used a Calif. company called Cquence. No affiliation, just very satisfied with their service, product and price. I assume they would have brakes for an F-Type as they have brakes for just about every sports car.

P.S. almost for got one of the best features with Cquence - they do their own drilling/slotting so there is a correct right and left side direction on the drilling/slotting, unlike most other off-the-shelf brands......not that it makes much difference for street driving, but it looks right.

The rear engine seal does happen. Shot in the dark without looking up in there.
Ahh... the great debate over "performance brake alternatives". Coincidentally, Indy cars, F1 cars, rally cars, and other high end exotics DON'T use these aftermarket alternatives for a reason.
Cheers!

2015 Jaguar F-Type V6 Coupe?
Your next step should be to diagnose it.
See your Jaguar dealer or a highly recommended independent Jaguar mechanic.

You can probably buy rotors, pads and sensors for under $200 Canadian, for pretty much any car out there. Your mechanic wants to make a week's pay on your job alone.
You're talking F-Type still??? You do know this is the XK forum, right?

I'll chip w feedback on 4.2 XKR (not F type) brakes. Did the front brakes. Bought EBC Red Stuff and new rotors. Bought as a kit for $470. Porterfield pads sound great but more than I need and expensive. Red Stuff pads need a quick warm up then well controlled and powerful stops. Also did new rear Conti tires. Can't wait to do the back brakes and have a complete set. Then it' will be time to enjoy winding country roads.
We knew that. No sweat. Nothing that you asked so far is different,
