Default Ordered Mina Gallery performance exhaust for my XK.

I ordered the Mina performance exhaust for my xk.

Mina Exhaust

It has quad pipes instead of the dual I have now. I figured I would need the x150 XKR rear valance so there is room for the extra pipes. Does anyone know if that is the case and what the part number I need to order is?

When I bought the Mina exhaust for my XK Chris through in the diffuser. If he doesn't you can get one from him for about $50 (I think).

That exhaust will sound great. I ordered the center piece on my previous XK. I think I paid $45 from dealer. I’ll see if I can find the part number.

I got mine 2 years ago from Parts.com, part number C2P8245, for $48 which included shipping.

Isn't that for the XK rear Valence? I thought OP needed XKR version(which is more expensive) for XKR style Exhaust?

I am coming up with 2 different part numbers for the XKR version.

2007-2009 is Part Number C2P17589 and retail is $2075 This is the "charcoal" colored version.. Best Price I found was $1444.20

OR, you can get the 2010-up Part Number C2P16656XXX and retail is $268 for the Paint to Match Version (comes Primed) Best price I found was $186.53

I could be wrong, either way that is a Crazy difference!

I would check with Chris at Mina he probably has a copy of this for much less as mentioned above.

Hope that helps,

Dave

The part number quoted by Snide72 is correct, put one on my 2007 XK when I put an XKR back box on it. Love the sound and the look. And its a great price for the part.

Funny how they denote the different versions, one for XK, one for XK w/Supercharger W/O "R Model" and one for "R Model".... Would like to see a photo of the difference in the last 2 part numbers. Plus I didn't know they made an "XK Supercharged" that wasn't an "XKR".. I knew they did that with the XF and others, but not XK. As always, I learn something new everyday!

Cheers,

Dave

I’m just worried if the same part for your 2007 will fit on my 2013. A $50 part I can handle. A $1000+ part that still needs to be painted is another. Tried calling Mina just now but they must be closed on Sunday. Didn’t want to leave a message. Saves explaining to my wife about thousands going out of the bank account.

If you don't want to do it the "buy" way, just take of your stock long part and hack off the outside six inches each side and put it back on.

Wish I was as mechanically inclined as some of you guys. I could see myself whacking on it with a hatchet. I’m afraid to put LEDs in for fear of breaking something if I do.

That one is expensive because it's the full Speed Pack valance from one end of the bumper to the other.

The correct part number you seek is C2P8245 and is less than $50 unpainted black urethane.

Thanks for that pic, I see now that it different from the R version which doesn't have that venting. Don't need any of them, just curious what the various versions looked like for future reference.

Any good track day stories, or was it all uneventful?

Cheers,

Dave

Just got an email from Chris at Mina. He said the valance I need is included with the kit. Awesome. Can’t wait to have it installed.

No crack ups, if that is what you mean, which is a good thing really.
