Default Slight pull of the rear on angle when hard throttle used

Has anyone ever had this? When you slam your foot down and hard from a stop, the car pulls over to the right slightly before evening up. Car XKR Conv 2012 15000 miles. Do the diffs have electronic problems?

Normal behaviour for RWD vehicles with sufficient power to do this.

Try it with a powerful LSD equipped vehicle.

Men smile and work with it, boys mess their pants.

All sorted now. The car has been in Jaguar for a week. Software upgrade for electronic diff sorted it.

What is this upgrade? Is it an update to the ediff and what years are effected? Do you have the Jaguar update code on your work order?

Yeah, mine doesn't wiggle a bit, just bolts straight off the line.

They just said it was a up grade. Been out in it yesterday, it still does it. It just kicks over to the right on hard acceleration. Only for a second. Sure it never used to do it. Its not a bush problem or anything, its a diff issue.

I have a Detroit Locker in my Drag/Street car, and that kicks sideways a LOT on launch. Well, a LOT being I can feel it. That took me by surprise the very first time I punched it as I had never driven a Detroit locker before, I thought I broke an axle or something.
I still feel nothing like that in my XKR, no matter how hard it launches.

Can anyone tell me if your 5.0L XKR pulls slightly to one side on hard throttle use. It does correct its self before it gets out of hand. Anyone else notice it?
It feels like the back end is going to whip around.

Had a software up grade, no difference.

I'm sure it used to just dig in and the back end just went in both sides. Very stable. Any help please. Does your XKR do it?

Default side wiggle

Isn't this little side wiggle on sudden acceleration due to the non-posi. diffs our Jaguars possess?
