Default 2003 XKR Coupe:Driver Door Module Malfunction

Had my 2003 XKR Coupe on the road yesterday and out of the blue everything in the driver's door stop working. Car thinks door is closed [I guess], no fob, no windows [drivers or passenger buttons], mirror buttons, lock mechanism....nothing. No button works on the driver's door.
Can lock/unlock with key to open it but the window does not drop nor the door latch function. I had to use my hip to close the door with a hand pressing the window inward to tuck into place and climb in the passenger door. Not fun!
Fuse ok [#15 25Amp] in driver side fuse box and WD40 in latch did nothing. Battery disconnect did not fix either.
Passenger door works fine on its own.
DDM part#LJE2120AB seems to be a hard find but could that be the only culprit?
Had a 1997 XK8 with the microswitch issue but that did not kill every driver door function like this.

Would appreciate all advice & guidance.
Thanks,
Chris

Always go for the simple first ..pull the door card . The cotroller is top near the hinges. move it down and check it has live and earth ..dont pull the plugs while you do this . Diagram / pin out on jagrepair.com . If it has live and earth then I would change the box about $50

Even simpler - check F4, 5A. As you're in the US, I'm not sure if that's Passenger Side Fuse box or Driver's Side - could be either, but No4 both sides is 5A, so best check both.

YES but NO what if the wiring is broken in the door jamb where it flexes or indeed anywhere between the fuse and the module.

The module gets live and earths so wiring intact.
Go I guess I need to go shopping
Casing manufacturer's logo is the blue oval so I'm hoping this module is same as in a Ford and therefore not 'Jaguar' priced.

You could try swopping it with the passenger side one if you don't mind risking the other door card clips.

It looks like the case clips together - is there anything obviously distressed inside?

Problem solved...I hope.
After having the battery disconnected off & on while troubleshooting the driver door issue, I decided to charge the battery and let the trickle charger do its job for a few days.
Battery fully charged and shortly into the next drive, all the door functions work.
I sure hope that was the culprit and don't know why only one door would stop working while everything else seemed fine. But I'll take it for now and plug in the charger more frequently.

Onto the next thing...surging engine around 1,500rpm and 30MPH seems to be a junked up MAF sensor brought about by a warped air box letting in air. Will remove the box and see if some applied heat will bring it back to its original shape [sealed]. Or I'll DIY a few extra clamps to ensure no gaps in the seal.
