ABS module and key fob repair
Looking for recommendations on which vendor to use for ABS module repair, also looking for vendor that repairs key fobs 1998 xk8.....I am located in Myrtle Beach SC....USA

The transmitter comes apart easily and there are only 4 parts and the batteries.
The flexible button membrane can sometimes just be CLEANED but if the carbon is worn, then the new coating will work.

Cleaned up the internal bits. As you say it comes apart quite well. I had contact cleaner and so far all is well. Fob programmed and tested.
Time will tell if that was the problem - certainly a lot of dirt came off.
