Default Almost at the finish line ???????

After seven (7) months of almost non stop work my 2001 Jaguar XK8 is almost ready for some pleasurable driving. The only thing left to do is replace the glove box handle. ( I purchased a glovebox door with the handle from an XJ8 which I plan to switch out on my XK8 glove box. I hope it works out)
A shout out to all those on this forum who did not hesitate to give me advice when I needed it (Motorcarman; Michaelh; Baxtor; CJD777) and all others.
History:
June 2025:
2001 Jaguar XK8 purchased as a non-runner:
After issues with the ignition system were resolved- engine ran but had an engine knock:
Purchased and rebuilt another engine: Installed with all new hoses, thermostat, water pump, crank sensors, knock sensors among other things that needed to be replaced:
Resolved all the electrical issues with engine management: Repaired ignition harness and installed 8 new denso coilpacs:
Re-Upholstered seats in car and addressed issues with the seat control modules:
Installed new shocks and H&S lowering springs, upper spring mounts ball joints,sta-bar bushings and steering ends:
Added shims to the rear to bring the camber into specs :
Installed 4 new tires and had alignment done:
Installed an upgraded JOYING STEREO system with backup and forward looking cameras
December 2025:
Replaced faulty turn signal switch, clockspring and at the same time I installed a "One Touch Turn Signal Module" (OTS-1M5) for lane changes. Right now it flashes 6 times but I can reprogram the module to flash just 3 or 4 times. If anyone would like to do this mod, Check out "DOMINGO'S post on how to do it or request the info from me. His post was on target and following his instructions it was a breeze to do.
There are lots of other things I have done that I may have failed to mention.
Last job? is to install the glove box handle and call this project a WRAP until something goes wrong. After all it's a Jag.
AGAIN: Thank you all for staying with me through this project, bearing in mind that I went into this DUMB AS F**K and came out on the other side very knowledgeable. Hopefully I will be able to pass on ideas to others as you all did with me.
THANK YOU GUYS. This section of the forum has been great.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL
